It’s everything you need to create a p5.js sketch, run an animation in the browser, and save it as PNG files from your browser. I’ve created a template that includes the html and js sketch file and then p5.js and CCapture.js min files. The button resets the frameCount to 1 and the animation slows down because of the added processing needed by the browser to save the frames. Notice how the animation starts over and slows down as soon as the button is pressed. In my sketches, I also include a button that allows me to first preview the animation and then click the button to save the frames once I’m ready. To use CCapture.js, download and save the min file to a JS directory and reference it in the HTML sketch file.

7-Zip is a nice program for unpacking them. CCapture bundles PNGs them into a single TAR file for download at the end of the animation. If you want more control over post-processing of the GIF, you can save the animation frames as individual PNG files and post-process them. Both the direct-to-GIF and WebM export options work well, if you want to go that route. Step 1 - Save Animation Frames with CCapture.jsĬCapture.js is a tool for generating videos (GIF or WebM) or images (png or jpeg) from an HMTL canvas (any canvas, not just a p5.js canvas).

Processing code is written in Java and runs as a standalone program on your machine. They generate images, animations, and interactive content. Processing and p5.js are powerful sketching tools. The post has been modified slightly to reflect this. It’s a nice and quick alternative to saving PNGs and post-processing into a gif.

GIF MACHINE GOING UP AND DOWN UPDATE
UPDATE - The original post recommended not using ccapture GIF export, but I’ve recently started saving directly to GIF and it’s been working well. If PNGs are saved, they can be converted to a GIF using ScreenToGif or other similar tools.

Something inside the machine needs professional attention.Summary - use CCapture.js to save p5 animations directly to GIF or to PNGs.
GIF MACHINE GOING UP AND DOWN MANUAL
Hope your problem is this simple (it usually is) but if this doesn't help, have you checked your user manual for troubleshooting tips?Īnd if that doesn't help, I suggest taking the machine to a repair centre. I've tried to get into the habit of not replacing the bobbin into the case until after I've switched the machine back to sewing mode but lol, it doesn't always happen that way! I've done it, too, when called away from the machine just after removing a freshly wound bobbin from the winding spindle. It's easy to forget to move the spindle back to the sewing position or tighten the hand wheel (depends on what model you're sewing on as to how your machine switches from sewing to bobbin winding and back) especially when you are in the middle of a project and hurrying to get back to sewing. Had you just wound a bobbin and forgot to move the winder knob back to the sewing position? That's usually why the presser foot lever won't work-because the machine is still in bobbin winding mode.
